The Battle of Bunkers Hill, near Boston June 17th, 1775.  This classic view of the famous Battle was engraved by J.G. Muller after the painting by the American artist, John Trumball and published by A.C. De Poggi in 1798.  The painting completed in 1786, shows the death of General Warren which Trumball witnessed across Boston harbour.    The engraving is 20 x 29 3/4 inches, mounted in cream with wash and lines, 29 1/2 x 37 1/2 inches, and handcoloured.  A spectacular Antiquarian print.
