Porcelain Bust of Lord Nelson by Michael Sutty, c.1990.   This beautiful porcelain bust was completed by Michael Sutty shortly before his death in the early 1990’s.  It was issued as a Limited Edition of 250, but less than 150 copies were ordered due to Michael’s premature death.  This example is #100 of the series.  It is based on the very rare parian bust of Nelson by John Ross & Co., of 1853 (see this Ross & Co bust above).  The bust is 10 1/2 inches high, 8 inches wide.
