French Dragoon, 26e Regiment, c.1812.  Standing with one hand on hip, the other on his sword hilt, looking to his half right.  The short tailed jacket is green with aurore facings, turn backs and collar piping.  The trousers are buff with white leg wrapping which shows just above the top of his black boots.  The Dragoon helmet is gold with a black turban and horsehair tail (minute chip).  A handsome 75mm figure signed on the base: D. Holmes 1984.
