A Most Unusual 2e Empire Eagle Emblem, c.1852/70.  This is a rarity and we have not been able to identify an example with the Eagle carrying a laurel branch in its beak.  The Crown pattern indicates that it is a 2e Empire creation, possibly for a vehicle or wall ornament.  The rear attachment prongs show no sign of use and may indicate that it was never issued; 2 3/8 x 1 3/4 inches.
